Frequently Asked Questions
Boot from the USB installer and select "Repair G4 OS". This runs a boot repair tool that fixes corrupted GRUB and missing EFI entries. If the issue persists, contact support with the error message.
At the GRUB menu, press E and add nomodeset to the kernel line to start in compatibility graphics mode. Once booted, go to Settings โ Display โ Graphics โ Install recommended driver.
Open Settings โ Hardware โ Network Adapters โ Scan for Drivers. If your adapter is not found, connect via Ethernet, then run: sudo g4-driver-manager --wifi from a terminal.
Try launching from a terminal to see error output. Check for updates in the App Store. If the issue persists, clear the app cache: Settings โ Apps โ [App Name] โ Clear Cache.
Check resource usage in Settings โ System Monitor. Common causes: insufficient RAM, a slow HDD, or heavy AI workloads in the background. Enable Game Mode for performance-critical tasks.
